Our classes in all of our programs are small, relaxed and friendly. Competency is assessed by a combination of practical learning tasks both in the classroom and in the work environment and a theory at the end of each unit. This reduces pressure of a large examination at the end of a course, and also enables us to pinpoint any areas of difficulty during the course rather then at the end.
Assessment is an integral part of the overall course. The New Age Spa Institute delivers training and assessment using the principles of competency based training. This means that student’s performance is assessed on their ability to perform the tasks in the industry standards.
